2025 "Qinqing Zhonghua • Chinese Roots-Seeking Journey" Summer Camp Opens in Nanchang
On August 14, the 2025 "Qinqing Zhonghua • Chinese Roots-Seeking Journey" Summer Camp, hosted by the All-China Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese and organized by the Jiangxi Provincial Federation and Nanchang Municipal Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese, officially commenced at the High-tech Campus of Jiangxi Normal University Affiliated High School. Twenty-seven overseas Chinese youth and team leaders from the UK, the Netherlands, and Italy gathered in Nanchang, the "Hero City," embarking on a cross-continental journey to trace their roots. ![]() Camp representative Zeng Yihang from Italy shared his enthusiasm and aspirations: "I hope to gain knowledge, forge friendships, and create lasting memories of youth in Nanchang. Team leader representative Liu Yan from the Netherlands expressed gratitude for the meticulous arrangements, stating that this roots-seeking journey would serve as a starting point to carry the stories of Jiangxi and the heritage of Chinese civilization, writing a vibrant chapter for overseas Chinese youth. ![]() On the afternoon of August 13, camp members gathered at the Jiangxi Provincial Museum for a cultural exploration spanning three millennia. They explored the exhibition "Jiangnan in Splendor: Xin'gan Grand Tomb and the Bronze Kingdom" and the "Jiangnan's Ancient History and Culture" gallery. Standing before precious artifacts, they listened intently to docents recount historical tales, immersing themselves in Jiangxi's profound heritage. Many remarked, "These relics showcase not only Jiangxi's long history but also the multifaceted yet unified evolution of Chinese civilization." ![]() As night fell, camp members headed to Qishui Square to enjoy a musical fountain show. Water jets danced in harmony with the rhythm of the music, interwoven with multicolored lights, creating a dream-like spectacle. They captured the magical moments with their phones to preserve the memories. Organized by the All-China Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese, with the Jiangxi Provincial Federation and Nanchang Municipal Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese serving as local hosts, this 10-day summer camp is themed "Shared Roots, Shared Soul, Shared Dream."
